In Idaho, the November General Election in odd numbered years is focused on municipal (mayoral and city council) races. National, legislative and county races typically take place during even numbered years, however there are always exceptions!

Polls will be open on Election Day from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. If you are in line before polls close at 8:00 p.m., please remain in line. You will be able to cast your ballot.
Early In-Person Voting usually available at several locations across Ada County 15-22 days prior to Election Day, closes 4 days before Election Day.
Early Voting in Ada County begins Tuesday, October 15th and ends on Friday, November 1st.

Absentee Ballots MUST be received by the County Clerk’s office no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Secure Dropboxes are available at several locations across Ada County. Drop boxes are under 24/7 video surveillance and are not drive-up accessible.
